Who Are We?

African Community Services Of Peel is incorporated as a “not-for-profit” community based organization, whose main objective is to provide settlement, integration, education and social services to the community. The Organization was established in 1993 and incorporated on August 4, 1994.

Our mission statement

To improve the quality of life of members of the newcomer community in Peel by providing them with the support, information and services necessary for healthy integration into Canadian society.

Our mandate is to:

  • Identify and address challenges associated with duality of cultures among newcomers.
  • Provide programs and services that promote cross cultural understanding and address barriers to communication, access and integration
  • Facilitate opportunities for self development within the immigrant community
  • Network with other service providers with similar goals and objectives
