Job Search Workshops Program (JSW) English
The goal of the JWS program is to facilitate the employment of eligible new immigrants by familiarizing them with effective job-search practices and techniques in Canada in a culturally appropriate manner and setting. The program equips and empowers un-employed and under -employed newcomers by providing them with effective tools, skills, hands-on experience and on-going supports needed to succeed in finding meaningful employment in Ontario as soon as possible.
The program provides 3-day workshops free of charge to the participants. Program staff work closely with newcomers who are facing employment challenged to develop their job search skills and to help them find jobs in their chosen fields.
Eligible clients include:
